Jessica Biel has awesome style

Oh Jessica Biel. I remember first seeing on her the awful show that was 7th Heaven. If you had told me then that she would be the one to be the biggest movie star of them all I probably wouldn't have...actually look at the rest of that cast. Who the hell else could have a career like hers? Maybe Barry Watson but certainly not the girl that played Lucy and where the hell is Ruthie? Though to be fair, Simon was very good in Super 8 (an excellent film by the way.) But anyway, Jessica Biel is gorgeous and a relatively good actress. She is queen of the action films lately (A-Team, Total Recall this summer) because when she tries to do a period film (The Illusionist, Easy Virtue) I laugh because no one had an ass like that back then.

Though she has graced many a fashion magazine cover and claims to love fashion, I really don't think she does but she has come up with an eclectic style all on her own. Plus, it doesn't hurt to have a certain Mr. Justin Timberlake on your arm.

It took her a little while to stop wearing gym clothes everywhere and now she has a great mix of classic with modern style.

Am I seriously supposed to wear floral pants?

I feel like no one is acknowledging the fact that fashion right now is such a replay of the 1980s it is ridiculous. We are wearing neon accessories, colored jeans and floral pants. I'm on board with the first two but the floral pants thing is a bit much. I'm actually not sure if they are flattering on everything. Those ones that Beyonce are wearing are just two giant petals pointing to her vagina. I just don't think I'm ready to rock the floral/vagina pants look.

Elle MacPherson has amazing style

Now we have another reason to envy Elle Macpherson. Her sense of style is amazing. Elle may actually be my favorite supermodel plus she actually made me laugh when she did her guest stint on Friends years ago. Kate Moss is cute and all but I don't think she'd be able to do that. And she is good enough to make the new Fashion Star a somewhat interesting show. Now, of course, Elle can wear anything (by the way, she is 47!) and make even the simplest outfits look awesome but frankly I just love how simple her style is. It's preppy meets athletic meets hot leather pants. She loves a good turtleneck sweater, capri pants and ballet flats. And she is one of the only people who makes me wish I could pull of the cowboy hat look.
