Oh Emma Stone! I just want to be you!

I just adore Emma Stone. She is a hilarious ham (hello Oscars presentation) but she can do drama (The Help) and now she is about to do arguably the biggest film of the summer, The Amazing Spiderman. Our little Emma has gone blockbuster and her outfits for this worldwide press tour have been incredible.

She told FabSugar "My stylist is really into fashion. She great with it!" Her stylist is Petra Flannery, whom she appeared on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter with earlier this year. So really Emma stylist should get the credit but I still love her. And on this press tour we have just seen an amazing outfit everyday.

Emma is also on the cover of like every magazine right now looking just splendid. In New York Magazine she opens up about her anxiety. I have major anxiety so we are basically the same.

On her worst quality: “I project things onto situations that aren’t necessarily happening … I’ll think that someone is saying something or thinking something, and I’ll react emotionally as if that were the truth. Sometimes I think someone is whispering to someone else about me, and I get sad, and then I’m reacting like I’m sad for hours when it really isn’t happening.”

She also likes old men.
On her thoughts about Jim Carrey’s crush: “I’ve always had like weird connections with men in their forties and fifties. I mean, not in a creepy way. I’ve never been attracted to them. But I have always become, like, pals with guys in that age group.”

On looks: “The pretty thing … It was never a value to me growing up. I always thought I was like the goofy, wonky one.”

Plus, I also want to be her because she is dating Andrew Garfield who is just so goofishly charming and cute.

Let's take a look at her Spiderman press outfits and her cute everyday outfits she has been sporting in NYC for the past few months while Andrew appeared in Death of a Salesman on Broadway.

The popular summer trend of light leather. Love the white pants and shoes.

Great dress for The MTV Movie Awards.

In Pucci.

Adorable in a Fendi dress

Love me some stripes!

So Mad Men

Definitely a hard dress to pull off but Emma did it in Rochas.

Love her coat.

An ode to shorts!

I'm not sure when it happened but at some point in the last few years, wearing shorts became accepted as high fashion. I mean women started wearing them in the 30's but it was usually just for a glamour shot or gardening or something. But then in the last few years it became acceptable to wear shorts as evening wear. I think we mostly have Gwyneth Paltrow to thank for this. And then this year Rachel Bilson convinced us that doctors can wear shorts to work on her show Hart of Dixie (though only if they work in a weird town in Alabama.) But I think shorts have become the new go-to go out wear (and in certain jobs professional attire) because they say "I wanna be sexy but I could also do a split right now and it would be cool." I love wearing shorts. They are so feminist chic. Here are some of my favorite shorts looks.

I adore Aubrey Plaza

Who doesn't love Aubrey Plaza? And who doesn't love this dress. No one pulls off morose and taciturn better than Aubrey.

Her character on Parks & Rec is hilarious. She can convey so much with just that look. Even though I don't understand why they had her marry Andy so early on, it still works! Usually I hate it when young people get married but they pull it off. This clip below shows off her character well.

Aubrey also has a cute little film career going. Besides her funny part in Damsels in Distress she now has a film coming out with two of my favorite men: Mark Duplass from The League (and a great writer in his own right) and Jake M. Johnson (Nick on New Girl.) My God, if the hot dude from Grimm was in this film, I'm not sure what I would do.

The film is called Safety Not Guaranteed and is about three magazine employees who decide to find the man who placed an ad seeking a companion for time travel. Sounds crazy right? But actually it seems like it will be a very touching story and with this talented cast it will be great.

Speaking of other good films, Mark Duplass is on a roll as he also has two other films coming out including People Like Us with Chris Pine and Elizabeth Smart as well as My Sister's Sister, which I am particular excited about. in that one Duplass is best friend's with Emily Blunt's character and when his dad dies she lets him go stay in her family's cabin where it turns out her sister Hanna is also staying. Well some people sleep together and it gets a little messy. Oh sisters. Anyway, should be a good summer of films.

But not only is Aubrey hilarious but she also has amazing style (it may help that she weighs 90 lbs.) But I just wanted to highlight some of her best looks.

This dress is just amazing. It combines two of my favorite things: pink and green!

Her Emmy dress was amazing!

My favorite looks from The Met Ball

The Met Ball happened this week. It is the Oscars of fashion. Frankly, I really won't be happy until I get to attend (it is one of my New York goals.) So I'll just tell you which dresses I liked best.
Miss Zou Bisou Bisou herself, Jessica Pare

Love this on Dianna Agron

Possibly my favorite of the night

Love Tory's dress. Not that crazy about Rashida's or Brooklyn's.

Solange Knowles in stunning yellow

My favorite couple. And I love her dress!

Some thoughts on Nicholas Spark films

Oh Nicholas Sparks.  You crazy, sappy, rich genius bastard. The other day I saw the film The Lucky One. I know. But I am not going to lie to you. I will pretty much watch Zac Efron do anything. I would watch him sit at a table and eat cheese. I watched him sing and dance about being popular in high school. I watched him when he had bangs in 17 Again. I even watched him when he was that weird kid who sailed and talked to his dead brother all day. So, yes, of course I was going to see the new grown-up Zac Efron fully decked out with stubble and 20 new pounds of muscle. But not even Zac and those ridiculously gorgeous eyes could not help this film. Of all the Nic Spark films, including that really bad one where we are supposed to believe that Miley Cyrus is musically talented, this one was the most pointless and the most plotless (him sitting at a table eating cheese may have had a stronger storyline than this.) And possibly the most ridiculous. But it did help me come up with these thoughts on Nicholas Spark films.

1) When you are a romantic person, you walk EVERYWHERE. Romantic people don't use cars, or planes or trains or modern transportation. A horse would probably work. Do poets drive cars? No. In The Lucky One Zac's character walks from Colorado to Louisiana because he is deep and beautiful and it is much more scenic to sleep under trees and not in a motel. Don't worry about foods or anything. If you have to use a car it needs to be either a beat-up old Ford truck or a classic convertible.
Oh the stare

2) Every Nicholas Spark film takes place in the same Louisiana town where the trees are weepy and it is either sunset or sunrise at all times. And I'm pretty sure they filmed The Lucky One, Dear John and The Last Song at the same house that used to be a plantation.

3) Small streams can become dangerous rivers at even the slightest bit of rain. One minute the stream is peaceful and small and a great place for people to get it on in a boat and then the next it becomes the most dangerous river in the history of the land.

4) Rain represents...things. Sometimes it represents passion, sometimes anger. Rain either happens right before someone dies or right before people are about to get it on.

5) If someone doesn't die, it's not a party. Now once in a while he kills the bad guy who is actually good but then sometimes he kills the dad or someone's parent and then when he was really being a bitch who kills the person who finally finds happiness with Diane Lane who is ridiculously hot.

6) Everyone appears to not wear makeup and not really brush their hair but still look amazing. Except Miley Cyrus she just looked messy. And everyone can pull off hats.

6) The Notebook is really the only film that figured it out. I think it has something to do with the fact that Ryan Gosling is just ridic. It is corny and sad but at the same time can you not tell me you will sit down and watch that shit every time it's on ABC Family.
