I forgot how much I love Jennifer Connelly's style

"I've chosen not to live in Hollywood, and instead I live in Brooklyn, New York. It's how I like to live. I'd rather hang out with my kids and family when I'm not working. Going to premieres is not my idea of a fun night out."

Looking effortlessly chic with daughter Agnes

Oh Jennifer Connelly. She is one of those extremely quiet and classy actresses who unless she has a film to promote totally stays out of the limelight (and wouldn't you if you were married to Paul Bettany and had three adorable children and lived in a hip part of Brooklyn?) But she recently resurfaced at Cannes looking effortlessly cool and it reminded me of how well this extraordinarily beautiful woman dresses. Let's look at some of her looks over the years.

Jennifer in Labyrith

Inventing the Abbots cast

Jen in A Beautiful Mind with Russell Crowe

Though Jennifer's career reached a whole new level when she did A Beautiful Mind to many people she will always be that girl with huge eyebrows from that weird but awesome movie Labyrinth. Jen was a working actress since she was a teen (and managed to attend Yale for a few) and did tons of films like Inventing the Abbots and The Rocketeer before hitting it really big with her Oscar winning performance as Alicia Nash in A Beautiful Mind.

And it was right when A Beautiful Mind came out that Jen's appearance changed a bit, meaning she lost like 30 pounds and became just a tiny little skinny thing and her style became amazing.
So her Oscar dress was a little bit more interesting that pretty so much. Wearing a scarf with a dress unless you are a piano teacher is always a risk.

Oh remember the flower trend? I absolutely love this dress she wore when she accepted her Golden Globe in January 2002.

Jennifer loves her black and she is skinny enough to pull off a dress with cutouts all over it.

Love a good pants ensemble. Black again.

Love this coat with the shoes.

Oh Jen's got some great some pins and she loves to show them off. Love this whole look.

Classic black.

Classic black and white.

Jen has a campaign with Balenciaga. Here she is sporting a dress from the designer and those amazing shoes.

Love, love., love this look. It is like school girl meets high fashion.

Her Balenciaga ad campaign.

Color!

And back in black.

With her cute hubby.

Classic and fun. Terrible movie though.

This would look bad on anyone else.
